For more information, call our office at (918) 291-1222.

At Glenpool Eye Care, we start seeing patients at 6 months and older. We assess the visual system and health system of the eye and educate patients on our findings.

We fit every type of contact lenses at Glenpool Eye Care! We are trained in soft contacts that can be replaced daily, monthly, and even slept in, hard contacts that are custom made to your prescription and curvature of the eye, scleral lenses for dry eyes and keratoconus, and ortho-k lenses for myopia control and athletes.

We have independent and brand name frames in every size and color. Our opticians are educated on the latest blue-blocker, anti-reflective coating, and transition options to fit your lifestyle and hobbies.

We have a lab available in-office to speed up the turnaround time on patient's glasses. Depending on the prescription and frame style, some glasses are available for same day pick up!

After testing eye muscles, focusing system, and depth perception, we may recommend therapy options depending on the deficiency found, symptoms, or goals the patient wants to achieve

We are trained in Ortho-Keratology lenses, atropine treatment, and distance-centered contact lenses to prevent large changes in prescriptions in children. Dr. Wolthuizen wears Ortho-K lenses herself.

We follow standard of care protocols with the latest technology to assess risk factors, like high eye pressure, and prevent changes to the optic nerve leading to vision loss.

We follow standard of care protocols with the latest technology to monitor any changes from long-term drug use, like hydroxychloroquine, and macular degeneration that can lead to permanent vision loss.

We will work with your Primary Care physician or endocrinologist to make sure your retina (back of eye) is healthy and vision is stable.
